Around the world the
number of Christians is increasing by 1.12% each
year, but the distribution of growth is not
equal--as this graph illustrates. The world's
overall annual population growth rate is 1.25%,
which means that, at this point, Christianity as a
whole is not keeping pace. The annual growth rate of
evangelical Christians, however, is more encouraging
at 1.83%. - from the International Bulletin of
Missionary Research, January 2004. |
