Mosaic is the monthly news bulletin of Rosedale Mennonite Missions and is distributed through CMC churches. Because this publication may contain information about workers and ministries in sensitive locations, the entire content is not available online.

Going into all the World
In a fitting conclusion to a conference focused on the Great Commission, thirty-four workers were commissioned for service around the world with RMM on Sunday, August 1. Nineteen were new appointments and fifteen of the workers were being reappointed. The twenty youth who will serve on the five 2004 REACH teams were also recognized. For more information about these and other RMM workers visit the online personnel directory on the RMM website.

RMM Mourns the Death of Two Workers
In the first week of August, RMM suffered the loss of two workers who were battling cancer. Latin America mission director Henry Helmuth (top) died on August 1 and Alta Nisly (bottom), a mission associate in Albuquerque, New Mexico, died on August 6. A tribute to these workers is being planned for the October issue of Brotherhood Beacon.

Missions Quote
Blaise Pascal was a French philosopher whose brief life lasted from 1623 to 1662. Several experiences led to his conversion in 1654. He observed, “There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of each man, which cannot be satisfied by any created thing, but only by God the Creator, made known through Jesus Christ.”

All else is meaningless. Only Jesus can fill the void. That is why we exist as individual Christians, as churches, and as a missions agency, to invite the nations to worship Jesus. – compiled by Elmer Lehman
