Ecuadorian Church Sees Response to Graham Campaign
CUENCA, ECUADOR – RMM missionaries Clayton and Thelma Nisly reported that the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s Mi Esperanza campaign (described in the October Mosaic) had a powerful impact on many of those whom they had invited to watch the television broadcasts. “We had close to fifty people who viewed the programming in the various homes that hosted those evenings. That we know of, there were a dozen decisions for Christ. However, one of our strategies, since we are a church just starting up, was to tell a lot of acquaintances to be sure and watch the programs in their own homes. We know that various ones took time to watch, and we know the programs impacted them. We thank God for what He did, and continues to do, with the seed that was planted.”
