RMM Response to Asian Tsunami Disaster
ROSEDALE, Ohio – Rosedale Mennonite Missions has no workers or partners who have been directly affected by the recent tsunami in the Indian Ocean region, though we do have two workers in India and one in Thailand.  In light of this, RMM has decided the most efficient response is to refer contributions to agencies that are better positioned to respond directly to the crisis.

We recommend the following agencies that are receiving contributions and/or are involved directly in relief efforts:

  • Mennonite Central Committee – donate online (www.mcc.org) or mail a check to: “Asia Earthquake Fund”, MCC, PO Box 500, Akron, PA 17501, made out to Mennonite Central Committee.

  • Youth With A Mission – donate online (www.ywam.org) or mail a check to: YWAM Support, PO Box 26479, Colorado Springs, CO 80936, USA. (Make checks payable to "YWAM Support" and add a note designating your donation to "Tsunami Disaster Relief Fund.")

  • Eastern Mennonite Missions – donate online (www.emm.org/donations) or mail a check to: Eastern Mennonite Missions, P.O. Box 458, Salunga, Pa. 17538, designated "Asia earthquake."

More information about these giving options and a list of prayer suggestions from RMM’s worker in Thailand is available on our website.
