Mosaic is the monthly news bulletin of Rosedale Mennonite Missions and is distributed through CMC churches. Because this publication may contain information about workers and ministries in sensitive locations, the entire content is not available online.

"I Want to See These Guys in Heaven"
Five teams of young adults are now several months into their outreaches in Gambia, Kenya, North Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East. In a recent email, Gambia team leader Simeon DiGennaro, wrote: “We have so many opportunities to connect with people here…I have many friends, but I want to get beyond that.  My prayer lately has been that situations would come where we can go beyond the normal talk and that I would be bold in sharing about the great gift that I have received…I [have] realized that to me it is no longer a matter of telling the nations, or bringing the light to Gambia, but I want to see these guys in heaven.”

Read the rest of DiGennaro’s email and check out more REACH reports and pictures – including anecdotes about orange spiders and an unexpected overnight stay in an isolated North African village.

Global Day of Prayer
RMM invites you to join with Christians around the world in ten days of around-the-clock prayer leading up to a Global Day of Prayer on May 15 (Pentecost), when an estimated 200 million Christians will unite in prayer, asking God to bless the nations. More information.

New Christians and Rosebuds
Flowers have taken on a new significance in the RMM office in 2005. As a reminder to pray for those who become Christians through the ministry of RMM’s workers, a rosebud representing each new Christian will be placed in a vase. In the first several weeks of this new prayer venture encouraging news has come in from around the world. RMM workers in North Africa, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Mexico, and El Paso, Texas, have all been involved in leading people to Jesus. If you would like to join the list of people praying for these new converts, send us an email.

Contest Winners
Mitchell Mast (Sarasota, Fla.); Hannah Miller (Belleville, Pa.); Ray Horst (Farmville, Va.); Don Beachy (Denver, Pa.); and Donna Fisher (Logan, Ohio) were the first to respond with the correct answer to the trivia contest in the last issue of Mosaic. They identified Nepal as the country where the Christian church has grown from 15,000 to over 400,000 in the past 35 years.
