"The Best Thing that's Happened to Me!"
Thelma Nisly, RMM missionary in Cuenca, Ecuador, wrote the following about Edison, a young man who has recently begun toRMM missionary Clayton Nisly baptizes Edison follow Jesus in that city. "[Edison’s brother] explained the plan of salvation…Edison listened intently and then responded, ‘I’ve already done that.’ So, though no one formally ‘led Edison to Christ,’ Christ came and led Edison to find him. Edison’s fervor for God is totally evident. He is sharing his faith with a small group of seven university buddies. He's witnessing to his girlfriend and her family. He admits he has been labeled a fanatic, but he said, with his quiet smile, ‘I can't help but tell people about this peace I have. It's just the best thing that's happened to me!’"

Youth Serving in Ecuador
RMM’s 2005 SWIM (Summer Witness In Missions) team left for Ecuador on July 8 to spend a month ministering in two cities there. 2005 Ecuador SWIM TeamBefore they left, team leader Stephanie Nisly wrote that “During the two weeks of SWIM training, our team has gone from sitting and staring quietly at each other across the breakfast table to sharing deeply from our hearts with each other. Praise and worship times, opportunities to serve others in the city of Columbus and talking with each other during our unstructured time have pulled this team together. It has been an amazing privilege to pray and learn as a team.” For more pictures of the team and updates from their outreach, visit www.send-me.org.
