Creative Communication in
the Middle
East
One of RMM’s workers in a large
city is using her experience and abilities in theater to present
the gospel in a fresh way. One of most recent projects was the
writing and staging of a Christmas play based on Zachariah,
Elizabeth, and Mary before the birth of Christ. In a recent
email she reported that the play went well and received a
positive response. She also wrote about her future plans “I
hesitate to say what the plans are for the near future because
so many times what I think is going to happen here doesn't.
There are plays planned for February, Easter, and May or June.
I'll leave it at that and keep you informed.”
Internships Provide Hands-On
Experience
RMM’s missionary internships give young adults a chance to test
a call to long-term missionary service while being mentored by a
veteran missionary. They are flexible assignments and there are
opportunities for service around the world. In an interview that
appears in the current issue of the Caleb Report, Tamara, an RMM
intern serving in China reflected on the costs and benefits of
investing a year of her life in this program “If you’re looking
at the financial benefits of doing an internship, it won’t take
you long before you realize that those who join the program
aren’t earning great dividends. However, when you look at the
worth of your life as seen through the eyes of the people who
you are helping, the time that you spend away from your home
country, family, and friends all becomes worth it.”
