Indications are that 2009 could be a year of individual, national, and global instability and hardship. We will fall at the feet of our God who reigns because we know that we desperately need him, and he is the One who can address our need.
Because our God reigns, we will understand and boldly face the uncertain times in which we live and ask God to help us seize the day to make wise, courageous, and creative decisions.
PRAY God would make us an agency (and Conference) that moves fearlessly and joyfully into the future without holding back.
PRAY we would be filled with anticipation for a move of God that is bigger than any we have experienced.
PRAY God would provide finances, work teams, gifts-in-kind, and direction in many decisions regarding the renovations and use of the new training center.
PRAY God would give us a wartime mentality and lifestyle with all hands on deck and with our eyes on the reigning Commander-in-Chief.
Because our God reigns, we will view hard and uncertain times as opportunities to deepen us and take us back to the feet of our God who reigns.
PRAY God would make us a people who find refreshment and help from his Word- people whose minds are at peace because we are trusting in Him.
PRAY God would make us a people who see him rather than giants, and move ahead in faith and confidence, knowing His strength is made perfect in weakness.
PRAY for protection of the marriages and families of RMM staff and missionaries.
Because our God reigns, we will invite the nations to fall at the feet of Jesus.
PRAY God would provide more workers for RMM to send into the harvest and help us effectively prepare them to go.
PRAY God would bring rapid multiplication to the fledging churches that are springing up around our workers overseas.
PRAY God would continue to “open the womb” of CMC
PRAY God would raise up persons in every CMC congregation who will be called and “sent” to share Jesus with the vast host of internationals living right on their doorsteps.
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns.” Isaiah 52.7
