Silent Retreat
Silent Retreat weekend was a time i'd been lookig forward to since the beginning of training. Friday afternoon we all packed into vans and took off for Camp Cotubic. Once again, it proved to be an amazing time, being silent and in total communion with God. The weather was nippy but the sun was shining beautifully, the perfect addition to the changing leaves. We all began our period of silence when we arrived, and then broke it together at a cook-out saturday evening. For me it was great just relaxing, sleeping, reading and hiking with only God as my focus.
Saturday night we had a campfire and "debriefing time", which was great, hearing about all the ways God was speaking to people during their silence. Sunday morning we had lifegroups and ended the weekend with brunch. Then we all packed up and headed back to the SEND house, eager to start yet another week of REACH training.
